It was on 3rd December 1971 that the life in United Arab Emirates changed once & for all. Emiratis delight in recalling the feeling of happiness & pride when UAE came into existence & late Sheikh Zayed signed the Federation Agreement.
The then ruler of Dubai & Vice-President of UAE, Sheikh Rashid addressed the newly-established nation & said that the independent sovereign state of UAE aims to provide an honorable life & stability to its people. The life of tens of thousands of Emiratis changed since then.
It is evident that Dubai’s government has strived to vie with the promises made to the inhabitants. Standard of Living of families continuously improved, with greater access to health facilities, better educational facilities & modern housing.
