If you are ever prescribed antidepressants, take the medication and do so as directed. Take only the dose recommended by your doctor, and never stop taking it unless you talk to your doctor first. When the time comes to finish your course of medication, your doctor may wish to taper you off.

These classes are increasingly easier to find at local gyms and the classes offer great opportunities to get out of the house, find new friends and explore the community. If a class is not quite your style, there are many excellent dvds you can find at the library that offer pilate training for beginners all the way up to the most experienced masters.

Try to be open-minded to new ideas that your therapist gives you. Many people do not follow the advice of a therapist because they find these ideas to be odd or unhelpful. But remember, your therapist is the expert and he or she is just trying to do whatever possible, to help you out.
