Did you know that 30% of the water you use to flush your toilet may be just going down the drain?

It works in ANY toilet

With the introduction of low flush, H.E.T. (High Efficiency Flushing Toilets), and dual flush toilets, a lot of attention was placed on attaining an adequate flush with a reduced volume of water. Unfortunately many of the manufacturers of these toilets didn’t look at the bowl fill aspect of water savings. In our tests we have seen that some newer toilets overfill the bowl by as much as one gallon. What that means, is that a 1.6 gallon toilet, in some cases, is in reality a 2.6 gallon toilet. The average waste in a 1.6 gallon toilet has been about a quart and a half. If you figure 24 flushes a day that’s over 8 gallons of needless waste each and every day. Or over 2900 gallons a year. This is a literal hole in the dike that nobody talks about!

Similarly, when used in older 3.5 gallon toilets or even 5 gallon toilets, the savings is phenomenal. In an older toilet there is as much as a gallon and a half that just goes down the drain, each and every flush. This water doesn’t fill the tank, it doesn’t fill the bowl, it just goes down the drain! Day after day, year after year!

A Simple Test.

Next time you flush your toilet, take the tank lid off first. When you flush, watch the bowl and the fill tube. If the fill tube still has water moving through it after the bowl has reached its normal level you are wasting water. Usually lots of it.

  • With our Changeable Orifice’ .You will have the ability to easily adjust the amount of water that is entering the bowl during the fill cycle. Did you know that as much as 1 gallon of water is wasted every time you flush? This is because the tank and the bowl are filled from the same valve with no way of regulating what goes into the bowl. With the one2flush’s exclusive CHANGEABLE ORIFICE’, you can end this needless waste of 6 to ten gallons of water a day and as much as 3500 gallons of water per year. Just this water saving feature will more than pay for the valve in the first six months of use. You will see your water bill drop and finally end the mystery of where that water was going.
