The lake is home to one of the largest commercial freshwater fisheries in the world.

St. Clair River
This river is located in central North America that drains Lake Huron into Lake St. Clair. It is 64 kilometers long and 1.5 meters high from Lake Huron to Lake St. Clair. It is one of the important areas of the Great Lakes waterway where cargo ships pass to travel between the upper and lower Great Lakes.
Niagara river
It flows north from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario. The river serves as part of the border between New York and the province of Ontario in Canada. It has two large islands, namely Isla de la Cabra and Grand.
San Lorenzo River
It is a larger river that stretches far from the southwest to the northeast of North America. It connects the Great Lakes and the Atlantic Ocean. The Saguenay, Ottawa and Richelieu rivers are being drained here, as well as Lake Champlain.
