The recent media storm surrounding Wayne Rooney and his lack of desire to continue pulling on a Manchester United shirt has brought renewed focus to the club and brings back memories of other players in recent times who have not understood that the club and its global brand are much greater than any individual player, no matter how gifted he may be. Sir Alex Ferguson is in no doubt about who will win when it comes to Club v Player and I’m sure this can be witnessed by Roy Keane, David Beckham, Jaap Stam and Ruud van Nistelrooy who have all left the club after talking to Sir Alex and they never drew a Man Utd shirt again. No one but the player and manager can know what the real reason for the current news is, but there is no doubt that the real reason will only be revealed when a successful deal is concluded to sell the player.

The current cause of the split is reported to be Manchester United no longer able to attract the top players that Rooney wants to play with. There is no doubt that since the once wealthy club is now saddled with Glazer debt, they will have a hard time spending the kind of money needed to attract the very เยี่ยมชมแมนยู, but there is no doubt that they has many young players who come through becoming the great players of the future, as Rooney did himself, and perhaps by staying in the club and helping them develop as a team by offering support and mentoring would help Rooney achieve that success, he says he continues to strive for. If he were to return to top form and let a team be built around him, he may find that he is capable of achieving true greatness by staying in the red Manchester United jersey, especially if Sir Alex remains in charge for a few years. to. There is no doubt that when a player loses the desire to play for a club, he finds it increasingly difficult to perform at the level of ability he is capable of, and in that case, this has undoubtedly been the case in some months now as the football media have been quick to point out. If we consider the latest newspaper reports on Wayne Rooney’s privacy along with the reports from this weekend’s football matches, it is often the case that great skill on the football field does not go hand in hand with a decided privacy, as many sports stars have proven in the past.

I’m sure this will be brought to a conclusion sooner rather than later and it will be interesting to see how much playing time Rooney gets between now and January next year, at what point he is likely to move on to another club, but there is no doubt that he has many more years of good football left to play, but no longer at Old Trafford unless he is in opposition to his old club.
