Whale watching one of the most exciting adventures for everyone. But in every adventure we do, we always see to it that we are well prepared and packed for us to have the most ultimate experience and also for us to be well prepared in case something comes up. Here are some of the must haves to bring during your adventure.
Snacks
Your whale watching can last from a few hours to a whole day. The whole course of your trip will surely make you feel hungry. Be more prepared by bringing some snacks with you and avoid getting hungry.
Drinking Water
Make sure that you are well hydrated at all times as you will be out under the sun for several hours. Keep yourself and everyone with you well hydrated by bringing a bottle of water for each person. Be friendly to the environment by packing your water in reusable bottles.
Seasickness medicine
A lot of people feel nauseous while on the water, requiring you need to take a medicine to prevent or cure seasickness. These medicines are usually taken a few hours before you take on the course.
A nifty pair of Binoculars
When going whale watching, chances are they will be far away from you. Using a pair of binoculars will allow you to see them even from afar.
Camera
Your smartphone would be quite enough. But if you really want the best photos of the whales, you have to bring a DSLR camera or preferably an action camera like a GoPro. See to it that you brought with you extra batteries and extra memory cards in case you will be needing it.
Outdoor or waterproof bag
You will be in contact with water for several hours, so it could be nice if you bring a waterproof bag and store all your valuables inside it.
