You’re planning your first trip to Disneyland. The plane tickets and park passes have been purchased, hotel accommodations have been arranged, and restaurant reservations have been made. The next item on the agenda is planning your private Disney VIP tours!

Disney tours are reserved for those who have already purchased park passes. This means you can’t walk in off the street for JUST a tour. Research and choose the tour you think best suits the needs of you and your family; then, as with many park activities, you will want to call and make reservations!

Discover the Magic: The Discover the Magic tour tops the list of tours. You and your family will work with your favorite characters to find clues on a treasure hunt designed to entertain everyone involved! You’ll stay a step ahead of the bad guys, enjoy lunch with your character friends, and receive a special gift exclusive to tour participants! This tour lasts about three hours and is a great tour for children ages 5 and up and, of course, for adults!

VIP Tour: The VIP Tour lasts about four hours and is great for a party of up to 10 people. This is also a very popular tour and should be booked as far in advance as possible to ensure your seats. The VIP tour isn’t really designed for children as much as it is designed for the older Disney lover with a true interest in Disney and Disneyland history.

Welcome to Disneyland: The Welcome to Disneyland tour is perfect for those who are making their first trip to the happiest place on earth! The tour lasts approximately 2 and ½ hour and includes a handful of perks. You’ll receive priority seating at a stage show, priority seating at a Disney restaurant, two bonus FastPass tickets, and more! The tour includes tons of valuable information on how to maximize your Disney experience!

Walk in Walt’s Footsteps: This tour is popular but is not recommended for small children. Like the VIP tour, it’s designed for those with a keen interest in the history of Disney as it is filled with trivia about the park, but also includes a glimpse of the esteemed and exclusive Club 33.The tour lasts over three hours and isn’t likely to hold the attention of the youngest visitors.

The Disneyland tours are designed with both younger and older visitors in mind and one of them is bound to suit your needs. The Disney tours give visitors the opportunity to learn about Disney in a way that is not available through any other source! Be sure to make your reservation as far in advance as possible. Your trip won’t be complete without a tour!
