Let’s be spooky. Lets have fun!
We’ll scare ourselves before we’re done
with ghosts and goblins – winds that howl –
Things that fly and things that prowl.
We’ll talk about such creepy stuff
until we both get scared enough
to hear things that we cannot see
A Spooky Night
My porch light’s on and I am ready
I anticipate a knock
And when it comes my goose bumps rise
As I undo the lock
Will it be a little child
Holding out a bag
Or maybe a real scary ghoul
Or an ugly witchy hag!
On this spooky, scary night
Could it really be a monster
With not a child in sight!
I think my imagination
Is getting the best of me
As the door I open wide
This is what I see!
