Unusual Animals According to a recent study that was carried out by a number of organizations that advocate for the rights of animals, Texas is the only place on the planet that is home to a greater number of rare and exotic animals. We are not talking about wild native animals here; Texas has some of the loosest laws in the country regarding exotic and endangered animal ownership and possession. The private trade of exotic animals has blossomed as a consequence of this. This issue is the subject of a great deal of debate, with passionate arguments on both sides. One such office is the Sharkarosa Untamed life Farm situated close to Pilot Point, Texas. At any given time, this 125-acre facility houses and cares for approximately 100 animals, 60 of which are permanent residents and the remaining are foster or rescue animals for short periods of time. Kangaroos, sloths, and a variety of monkeys are among the thirty species represented. They house the Nubian Ibex, a number of lemur species, and a strange animal called a binturong, all of which are endangered species. From March to November, the facility is only open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays. For groups, they offer private tours for which reservations are required two weeks in advance.
The Exotic Game Ranch is an animal ranch owned by Texas Disposal Systems. Over 2,000 people from 100 species, from six of the seven continents, live here. Some of these are particularly exotic animals that are only found in a few countries: Fossa, Barbary Sheep, Black Rhino, Grevey Zebra, and a wide variety of other antelopes. The TDS Exotic Game Ranch makes a significant annual contribution to the community by hosting numerous community fundraisers.
