All three models already include voice control and are submersible up to 10 meters without the need of a cover protector if we compared it with Hero 5 that introduced this aspect. It also keeps its back screen from which you can preview what you see through the lens, but there are other differences that you need to know as well. Stay tuned.

GoPro Hero 7 Black is Perfect for Mountain Bike

The GoPro Hero 7 Black is the actual top model and among other features, as we said before, GoPro incorporates the new Hypersmooth stabilization system. This stabilizer works almost as well as a mechanical stabilizer but with the enormous advantage that it does not add a gram to your camera.

If we think of a situation where the stabilizer can be of great help, obviously the first thing that comes to our mind is a mountain bike route, and this same sport is what they have chosen in GoPro to show how good the Hypersmooth is. This system also will allow you to make videos under the water, on those windy days and at high altitudes while maintaining a great image quality.

GoPro Hero 7 Silver and White are Perfectly Simple

The two most economical options, Silver and White, are not as capable as the Black and do not use the GP1 chip (a topic discussed later). But they still seem to be pretty solid cameras in their own way, considering their prices. Both cameras can capture and store vertical photos and videos, something that Instagram users would like to have.

Despite the limitations that both cameras have, their quality in photo and video are still very good and if your activities are more “calm”, that is, you do not dedicate yourself to surfing or similar sports but you want to portray your outings with friends and share them in your social networks, it may not make much sense to pay for all the other details if you do not plan to use them. You can portray beautiful moments of high quality with the GoPro Hero 7 Silver and GoPro 7 White since both have been inspired by modern Smartphones, which means they are very easy to use.

If you are a beginner in photography, and you are looking to invest in a good camera, these two models are ideal to start since they are thinner and lighter than the Hero 7 Black. Both adjustable to a good budget.

What GoPro Hero 7 Buy?

When presenting the three GoPro Hero 7 at the same time, surely more than one buyer has the doubt about which one to buy now.

Leaving aside the budget we could have, we would recommend the GoPro Hero 7 Black if you are an active person a thousand times for its stabilization system and recording quality, but above all because it is the only one of the three with removable battery that allows you to charge with several batteries of spare if you’re going to record for several hours or days.

The GoPro Hero 7 Silver and the GoPro Hero 7 White only differ in that Silver records to 4K and has GPS, but if you want to save a few dollars, we can tell you that the quality of the GoPro Hero 7 White is extraordinary for most of the consumers of these cameras and the GPS of the camera will not offer you, neither more nor better data than what a GPS clock gives you with which you record your workouts and routes.

Analysis of the GoPro Hero 7 Black

As we mentioned, the feature that has been improved most in the GoPro Hero 7 Black is the image stabilization. They have optimized both their software that this digital stabilization is better than the previous version and that is why they have called it “Hypersmooth”. This note for example in the videos in which we carry the camera in our hands or put it in some accessory to carry out some sports activity, since the planes are much more stable, and therefore have a more professional appearance.

Regarding the most innovative mode of this Hero 7 Black, called TimeWarp, consists of recording a video type Hyperlapse, ie a timelapse in motion, in which the camera captures photos every X seconds to then create a video fragment in which time is appreciated in an accelerated way, and this while you move with it, for example by walking on a path or a busy avenue. This technique is always done with a gimbal or a tripod that you have to change position so that the resulting recording looks smooth without vibrations or jumps, but it seems that GoPro has achieved this by taking the digital image stabilization to a higher level, without having to use any other extra accessory.

How do you get all this if you carry the same GP1 chip as its predecessor? Well, because there are other components that are not seen and are not usually talked about, such as its updated 2GB SD RAM memory that gives more power to the software. Like the touch-ups that have been made to the internal microphones to record even better the sound.

Regarding the design, all the versions have the same measurements as the previous GoPro and therefore are compatible with the same accessories. The 2-inch touchscreen and the 1220 mAh battery are also the same.
