Microsoft says the new Hotmail interface will run faster, but users complain back

As Microsoft continues to roll out the redesigned Windows Live Hotmail service, many users are furious, expressing their grumbling over the net that the new interface is a step backward and that the email service is slower than before.

Most complaints come from the look and feel of Windows Live Hotmail changed from 22/9 last. New interface like Microsoft claims to run much faster.

“It’s a big step backwards,” said a user nicknamed “Dave the Red” in a message from the end of October on a Microsoft news support team, “I want my old Hotmail back.”

“Do not like it !!! Do not like it !!! Do not like it !!!”, an anonymous user posted on the FAQ section of the Microsoft FAQ about the new interface. “Everything seems to take a lot. I feel like I’m looking at a large book of ancient folk tales. Please bring it back like that. “

However, there are some positive comments on the Microsoft FAQ. According to Computerworld, three of the 100 most recent comments show change.

The FAQ has collected over 850 comments so far.

Some users report more serious issues than the clumsy interface. They said they could not read, delete or print the message; Can not access some folders and can not compose and send new messages.

“Come on, Microsoft! First of all, Vista, and now this is it!”, A user named “Joey” wrote, “I’ve been using Hotmail login  for eight years and have never experienced any problems. up to now, “he added, then outlined nine issues, from fuzzy fonts to lost contacts.

Many users have urged Microsoft to bring back the classic “interface” option or ask where it has gone?

Users also disagree with Microsoft’s statement that Hotmail is running faster. Many comments in the FAQ say “much slower than old”, “this version is slower when open mail”.
